And what exactly does that mean? It's being reported that this virus will be capable of coming out of the computer to control Siemen systems that are automated; such as trains, lights, power plants, etc.

Countries that have been effected are: Iran, Asia, Europe, even the U.S. (sorry I'm no longer able to find the link that listed specific countries.)

Rumor is that Israel created it to attack Iran.

In the code Siemens has detected DEADF007. At first glance it looks like Dead Fool. But could it be Dead 2007?

I'm with the security on this one! It's a flat out lie that their nucelear power plant is safe. The malware isn't contained. It's apparently activated without any person touching any of the keys and said to be waiting for something now. Waiting for what? No one knows yet.

Now don't get me wrong, if iran no longer has control of their nuclear power plant, that makes the world a safer place, but since America's systems have also been affected with the malware it gets a little more personal.

At first Iran denied that they had a malware and then the very same day the said they did have it. Why? Were they not even aware they had it? Or were they lying? Either way, it doesn't make them look good. Someone even brought it to my attention that they may have created the malware themselves creating them as the victim against Israel yet again. But are they really smart enough to do that?

The worm has now infected about 30,000 IP addresses in Iran. other sources say as high as 45,000 now.

I'm curious to know if this malware has affected gas station computers? I can't find any information on it.
